Golden Earrings Jazz Band plays 1920s and 1930s favorites by the likes of Josephine Baker, Mamie Smith, Connie Boswell, Fats Waller, Sophie Tucker, Edith Piaf, and Sidney Bechet.
From New Orleans standards to French chanson, we've got what you need to feel like you're living in another time — and we love to throw in a few country and Latin favorites as well.
The core of Golden Earrings Jazz Band is an engaging and versatile duo: Kevin "Muscle Mouth" Buster on saxophone, guitar, and foot percussion; and Robin Kallsen on vocals and upright bass.
Together, we create an authentic prohibition-era sound that you might expect from a much larger ensemble.
Want an even bigger sound? We can add more musicians!
You can download our album from our Bandcamp page or purchase a hard copy at any of our gigs (or if you happen to catch us busking somewhere)!
It's the 20s for several more years, so let's make the most of it! Keep things roaring (and keep the flappers dancing) with the sounds of the Jazz Age at your next prohibition-themed event.
We also offer a wide range of swingin' Christmas and Hanukkah tunes for holiday parties, and we've got more than enough French songs to keep the music going for hours on Bastille Day.
In addition to bars, our sound is ideal for wineries, art galleries, private parties, and more!
